2BHK Residential Interior.
PROPERTY TYPE :
2BHK + Study apartment approx. 1000 sq.ft.
This is the home of Mr Alex Pereira he contacted us after watching some of our work in Youtube. After initial round of discussion he chose to go with our #3D design services which really helps fine tuning details of designs so that the homeowners can actually get an almost lifelike view of what their homes will look like after completion. This was crucial especially because he travels a lot so his easy availability was doubtful so getting everything preapproved made more sense.
BRIEF FROM CLIENT :
The brief was he needed a bright cheery colourful place which is easy to maintain and spacious & functional so that it can accommodate number of people for parties which he plan to throw once he moves in.One of the challenges in this project was the fact that the apartment was slightly offset from the sun thus creating a dearth of natural light so why designing we had to incorporate elements which would ensure that this home was warm and well lighted.
Project Details :
This is a 2BHK + Study apartment approx. 1000 sq.ft. As you enter the apartment we have created a jaali partition which also doubles up as a shoe cabinet. With small apartments like this one where space is a constraint there is no actual foyer it is essential we add these small features to enhance the privacy of the homeowners.
As we enter the #living room the first thing that will strike you is the accent wall where we have done a special textured treatment with myriad shades of yellow and orange and crème. The wall which houses the TV showcase has Italian marble on the wall which has been polished with LED fittings. Other elements in this room are simple, with a coffee table with storage and a nice comfortable sofa to give that warm inviting feeling. On the other side of the living room we have the bar niche which is usually kept aside for crockery unit but since we could actually curve out space for this in the dining area we choose to convert the living room niche in a fully functional bar. False ceiling was added in this section to create more light as otherwise this was a dark niche with no source of natural light.
The Italian marble top dining table dominates the dining area although with smart space saving design we were able to create not only 2 large crockery units on one wall but we also added a window seating area between the storage. With intelligent space management we have been able to make this room feel spacious despite of the two large furniture pieces. (Dining table + crockery showcase with seating)
The kitchen was a close one but we decided to go with an open one so that we can create the illusion of more open space. The finish is mostly lacquer glass which is super easy to clean and has a very modern appeal.
The study room is simple an elegant – the colour scheme that we chose for this room is mute shades of brown and white. The design is simple and meant for comfort and relaxation.
The first bedroom or the guest bedroom has that classic crème chic look with sliding storage. The master bedroom is mostly veneer finish. We have added storage units where ever possible. There is a small study in the room which was created as per client’s request.
