Balance was the most difficult task.  We began strategising how to convey a sense of royalty without being overbearing.  The space needed to be functional, comfortable, and easy to navigate while still exuding an air of vintage luxury.

 

We also needed to ensure that the lighting brought out the best in the jewellery’s shine without creating glare or harsh reflections.

 

Our Design Process

 

We began with the theme of “Vintage” at the core of the entire process, and every aspect of this design is meant to evoke warm feelings of nostalgia while at the same time reminding us of modern sophistication.

 

  • Palette: We have used rich beiges and deep reds that overall give a royal, warm feeling. These tones also made gold jewellery sparkle naturally.
  • Illumination: Soft chandeliers adorned the ceiling, with our team layering warm spotlights over the display cases and accent lights to shine onto elaborate designs. The illumination felt warm, as if it existed naturally and not artificially.
